We are so excited to announce our GAIA Bridal 2024 Trunk Show at Pretty Smithy Bridal on the 21st & 22nd of October! This is your chance to preview and buy your dream wedding dress from the brand new 2024 collection which just previewed mid-September at Harrogate.
This beautiful new collection will arrive in stores in early 2024. This is your exclusive chance to skip the wait with our special Trunk Show event and try these beautiful gowns now so you can order from this newly launched collection ready for wedding dates in the first half of 2024 and beyond.
Remember we usually advise brides to shop for their gowns around 12 months before their wedding, (where they can) so they have the full selection of dresses available from all designers, wherever you are shopping.
If you are ordering a made-to-order gown - it can take between 3-8 months for your gown to be made depending on the designer, and you need to allow time for dress prep when it arrives in and alterations. It is, of course, possible to shop in a shorter timescale for your wedding dress, we have an amazing off-the-rail collection, which is available straight away just for this purpose!
But, if you are getting married in the first half of next year and are loving the new dress trends just being launched, then this trunk show will be for you. Giving you the opportunity to order beautiful 2024 collection wedding dresses, that otherwise may arrive at the boutique too late to be re-ordered for you if your wedding is early to mid 2024.
And what amazing new trends there are out there, we are just in absolute love. Gaia's new collection is brimming with floral delights, with beautifully detailed applique work, 3D flower patterns, and the introduction of gorgeous colours including blues, pinks and yellows to their stunning collection of bridalwear. Dresses like Bluebell, Rose, Florentina and Jacinta will make a dramatic impact on your big day.
But let's not forget the simplicity and elegance of Gaia's signature styling - dresses like Iris, Peony, Tulip and Calla - all full of understated and detailed sophistication. For those of you that are pure romantics are heart - there is the stunning Posy, Stargazer and Camellia. We can't wait to give you the chance to preview this collection!
Now some of you may be thinking - what on earth actually IS a trunk show? So a Trunk show is where we as the local stockist for a particular designer, loan MORE dresses from them for a special event - meaning you have even more dresses to choose from. Plus in instances like this - it means you have exclusive access to next year's collection - earlier than everyone else!

Maria remains at the forefront of the design process, personally sketching each and every new style at her studio in Wales, travelling the world to source the finest fabrics and laces to ensure that GAIA gowns don’t just look beautiful, but feel beautiful to wear too.
GAIA has always had a strong commitment to body positivity, many of the new styles in both the 2023 collection already in our boutique and in the new 2024 collection coming for the Trunk show have been created to enable brides of all shapes and sizes to look incredible and feel confident and sexy on their wedding day.
